The Good
Many guests enjoyed their stays and left positive reviews. The friendly staff did a good job of making guests feel welcome, accommodating requests and ironing out any problems that arose.

Many enjoyed dining on site, although it wasn't always perfect, the staff tried their best and often brought out good meals with good service, at a reasonable cost.

Many enjoyed clean rooms that were described as large and quiet with comfortable beds. Some had enjoyable views of the Klondike River.

Guests liked the location in walking distance to Main Street, where guests found other restaurants they liked and shops.

Guests who used the friendly shuttle service found it added value and convenience to the stay. Many found the room prices reasonable and thought they had received good value at the hotel.

The Bad
Guests who complained usually had small rooms, with small shower stalls which made them feel cramped. Another negative feature for some was the communal shampoos which some guests felt were not sanitary (as others had touched the pumps to dispense soap for washing).

Other occasional complaints found were: room ventilation was poor, room too warm, poor shower pressure, parking tight for larger vehicles, fireplace did not work, poor view from room, room decor was 80's, adjoining rooms tranferred noise easily through the doors, a loud AC unit and stained carpets.

A couple of guests claimed that not all rooms had working air conditioners and that some rooms were only provided fans.
