Overview
This hotel is situated in the downtown area of North Battleford, with local attractions like the West Development Museum and Battleford Golf and Country Club within a 5-minute drive, making it a good choice for those who want a centrally located hotel or those who want to explore the area by car. The indoor pool and waterslide make this an attractive option for guests with children.

With room renovations done in 2011, each room offers a coffeemaker, cable TV, an iron and ironing board, a clock, a desk and chair, a hair dryer, individual climate control, free Wi-Fi and free local calls. Some rooms feature a kitchenette and a microwave and a mini-fridge can be requested. Some rooms feature direct access to the outdoors. Both smoking and non-smoking rooms are available, as are wheelchair-accessible rooms.

A continental breakfast is provided free of charge and parking on site is complimentary. Pets are permitted to stay at this hotel for $25 per night.

Other hotel amenities include an indoor pool with waterslide, a hot tub, conference space and an ATM machine. There is also an on-site beer and wine shop. This hotel does have an elevator.

Access to Highway 4 is less than a 1-minute drive from the hotel. There are a few restaurants nearby, like Porta Bella Restaurant and Pennydale Junction, both a 7-minute drive from the property. Of the reviews sourced for this analysis, the majority of them were negative and most guests were not happy with their stays. However, guests were still impressed with the staff and gave some positive feedback about the rooms.

Many reviewers praised the staff and described them as friendly, accommodating and hospitable. The service, for several guests, was the best part of their stays.

Several guests felt the hotel was rundown and old. They felt more upgrades were in order. 

Several guests were displeased with the hallways and claimed they smelled like smoke and must. A couple of guests thought the hallways looked dark and dingy.

The room size was another source of complaint for some guests, who felt the rooms were too small. Some guests also complained of noise from outside and from a lack of room amenities such as a microwave or fridge. However, there were some positive opinions about the rooms (see above for more details).

Some reviewers felt the hotel was located in a bad area of the city and were not particularly impressed with the surrounding area.
