Overview

Located about a 6-minute drive from Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB) along Highway 138, the Hotel & Suites Monte-Cristo is geared towards car or air travellers who require a hotel with free Wi-Fi and easy access to the airport and highway.

Each of the hotel's air-conditioned guest rooms and suites offers free Wi-Fi, cable TV, a mini-fridge, a microwave, a desk, an iron and ironing board and a hair dryer. Rooms with a jetted tub, a sauna, a patio and a seating area are also available and the hotel does not offer wheelchair-accessible rooms. Smoking and non-smoking rooms are available.

Hotel amenities include a heated outdoor pool, free long-distance calls throughout Canada and the U.S., a business centre, free 24-hour coffee and cookies in the lobby, laundry services from May through October, vending machines and free parking. Pets are not permitted.

Club de Golf Albatros de Ste Foy is about a 3-minute drive away, while Quebec City's centre can be found 8 minutes away by car. The hotel's staff were the source of numerous compliments by guests. They characterized them as bilingual, friendly, professional and helpful with suggestions and directions.

Many reviewers enjoyed their accommodations at the hotel. They described their rooms as clean, well equipped, spacious, quiet and comfortable, with good water pressure. A few patrons criticized their lodgings, however (see below).
