The Good
This hotel received many perfect scores in the reviews posted online. Numerous guests were highly pleased with their stay and the professional manner in which the hotel catered to its guests.

They loved the quaint setting in Old Quebec, the beautiful older building which housed the hotel, and found the property charming, with gracious and elegant decor, lovely modern rooms and a warm and pleasing ambiance. Overall, it provided a memorable experience in a unique setting.

It was centrally located just outside the walls of the old city in the quieter lower town, with easy access to parking, attractions, shopping and excellent restaurants.

The staff and their service was a definite highlight, and they were considered exceptional by many guests. Guests were able to enjoy a comfortable and well-appointed lounge with free specialty coffees available all day, a relaxing fireplace in the lobby, an outdoor patio in the warmer months, and an outstanding continental breakfast each morning.

Guests found their rooms comfortable and spacious with great beds, high ceilings and stylish decor. Some mentioned enjoying Nespresso machines, turndown service with chocolates and bottled water, and modern bathrooms with heated floors.

The Bad
Although the vast majority of guests provided highly positive reviews, a few guests offered suggestions for improvement.

Occasionally guests found an issue with their rooms, which included: AC blowed directly onto beds in a double bed room, cold air from air vent uncomfortable during the night, small storage/closet space, did not like having a glass wall to the shower as the blinds may not fully obscure the person showering, no bathroom fan, regular shower curtain a little mundane for this type of hotel, room decor a little dull, room lighting not enough for reading, no blackout curtains but existing shades allowed some sunlight into the room in the mornings, room too warm, and one guest did not like the 'black paint" in the bedroom.

Hotel complaints included: a lack of equipment in the fitness facility, the bar had no TV, not really a kid-friendly hotel, a bit crowded at breakfast, no hot items at the free breakfast, no dedicated breakfast area, hotel a little pricey and an extra charge for parking.
