The Good
The majority of reviews consulted for this analysis were positive with much praise for the hotel's staff, rooms, and restaurant.
Many guests were pleased with the level of customer service they received during their stay. These reviewers described the staff as friendly, attentive and professional.
The hotel's rooms were a source of numerous compliments. They were described as spotless, modern, spacious, and well equipped, with comfortable beds and great showers. It should be noted however, that a few guests reported staying in non-renovated rooms, which had older TVs and worn carpet. They guests recommended asking for a renovated room when booking.
The hotel's on-site restaurant Monte Cristo L'Original was praised by several reviewers and was described as having excellent service and top notch food. One guest stated, "Great service, great atmosphere and excellent cuisine". It should be mentioned however, that a few guests found the restaurant to be more expensive than they would have preferred.
The Bad
While the majority of the reviews consulted for this analysis were positive, there were a couple of common complaints about the parking and noise transfer.
Several guests were disappointed that the hotel charged $10 for parking. These reviewers felt this should have been included in the room rates since the hotel is not located downtown.
Noise disturbances were reported by a few lodgers during their stay. These guests reported hearing noise from a wedding late at night in the hotel, as well as from guests in adjacent rooms. Noisy air conditioning units and bathroom fans were also mentioned by a couple of guests, however, the majority of reviewers that commented about noise felt the opposite and found the hotel to be quiet and tranquil.
