The Good
Guests who liked this hotel were definitely in the majority, judging from reviews read online.

It was a good fit for travellers who wanted extra space or kitchen facilities and for those who wanted to be located near a Metro station and a short walk to restaurants, groceries and shopping. Some guests also appreciated that it was on a quiet street.

Guests typically found the rooms to be very well cleaned, comfortable, well equipped, and with fast Wi-Fi. Many enjoyed views from the higher floors and from the pool on the penthouse floor.

The staff were very well reviewed, professional at all times, genuinely friendly and helpful. Guests seemed to want to come back because of them.

The free breakfast and the free evening receptions made guests feel at home, and they spoke positively about the food provided, the portions and the attentiveness of the serving staff.

Many felt the hotel provided good value. Guests appreciated getting a small apartment for the price of a regular hotel room, in such a convenient and pleasing location.

The Bad
There were a few guests who did not enjoy the property. They felt it was too old and dated for their comfort. These guests invariably pointed to a few of the hotel's weak spots.

One of these was the elevators. Guests described older elevators that were small and took a long time to arrive, causing guests to cram in, when the hotel was filled to capacity.

Another trouble spot was the underground parking facility. The problem was that it had low ceilings and lots of concrete pillars, making it hard to park for some who said they were afraid of scratching their cars.

It seems that the hotel was refurbished, but is still an older building and some of the balconies are getting quite old with unsightly water damage and corroded air vents, marring guests' enjoyment of the hotel. Other issues guests spoke of recently were doors that were swollen and would not close, clogged tubs, chipped bathroom fixtures, cracks in the ceilings and peeling paint.

Some also found the rooms quite small and disliked having only a double size bed. A few guests said their beds were uncomfortably hard, and occasionally guests complained of noise disturbances from heaters and from nearby rooms.
