The Residence Inn by Marriott is located on Peel Street, in between Maisonneuve Boulevard and Sherbrooke Street, in downtown Montreal.
The hotel is located up the street (about a three-minute walk) to Peel metro station, and about 2km from both the bus and train station (an approximate 10-minute drive). The Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport is about 20km away, and travel times vary depending on traffic conditions.

The hotel's staff members were praised in many of the guest reviews for being welcoming and helpful. There were numerous comments that the front desk staff were helpful in answering questions and giving directions and were attentive to guest's needs.
The hotel's rooms were praised in many of the guest reviews for being spacious, clean and comfortable. Guests particularly enjoyed the kitchenettes, with some guests commenting that buying groceries and cooking was a great way to save money. Several guests said that their rooms were cleaned regularly by housekeeping staff and that the beds were comfortable. One reviewer appreciated that there were only eight rooms on her floor, which kept noise from the hallway and elevator to a minimum.
The hotel's location downtown on Peel Street was praised for being convenient and accessible, particularly to Montreal's universities and the business and shopping districts.
