Located within a 15-minute walk of McGill University in Montreal's Quartier Milton-Parc area and an 8-minute walk to the Metro's Place-des-Arts station, McGill New Residence Hall is popular with business and vacation travellers who require an economical and centrally-located hotel with an on-site cafeteria near public transit.

This pet-free hotel has 430 air-conditioned guest rooms and suites, each offering free Wi-Fi, cable TV, a mini-fridge, a desk, an iron and ironing board, and a hair dryer. Standard rooms offer one queen or two double beds, while apartment studios are also available and offer a kitchenette and a king-sized bed. 

Hotel amenities include a 24-hour front desk, a kitchenette on each floor, laundry facilities, an ATM, a piano, a shopping mall on the lower level, meeting/banquet facilities for up to 700 people, a business centre, and a $5 breakfast voucher (for use in the cafeteria) for each guest daily. Parking is available underground at $25 per day. The hotel provides wheelchair accessibility. 

Nearby restaurants include El Gitano and Chez Gautier, which are both within a 2-minute walk of the hotel.
