The Good
This hotel provided many guests with a perfect stay and many planned to return.
Guests really loved the rooms with their Juliette balconies and exposed brick or stone feature walls. They were very clean with wooden floors, had fast and reliable Wi-Fi, very comfortable beds and ultra modern bathrooms.
The location was perfect for accessing old town attractions. It was steps away from the Old Port and its bike trail and promenade and walking distance to cafes, superb restaurants, bars, clubs, museums and art galleries.
The staff were commended for their outstanding service repeatedly in the reviews. Guests considered them extremely friendly and accommodating, courteous, professional and knowledgeable.
Although some guests desired an American breakfast, typically reviewers spoke highly of the free continental breakfast offered. They judged it to be fresh, with delicious French pastries, Montreal bagels, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals and a choice of premium coffee drinks.
Many guests were pleased with the hotel's valet parking. They said the service was quick and efficient and guests were able to retrieve their cars easily at all hours. Some found the price reasonable.
The Bad
Complaints were quite minimal and not deeply felt overall from the reviews sourced at this time.
Although guests were pleased overall with the valet parking offered, there was the odd comment about it being a bit high in price, and guests who found it expensive were told of nearby lots where they could self park.
Occasionally guests mentioned hearing noise. They said it came from St. Paul Street, the stairwell, the lobby, from the room above, the hallway or from guests closing doors.
The hotel sells their rooms according to size, with the "S" rooms being the smallest. Some found these "S" rooms a bit small for two people.
