Many guests praised the hotel's staff, characterizing them as welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful with dining recommendations and directions. One guest remarked, "It's amazing how friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and flexible the owner and staff are".
The hotel's location was a source of many compliments by reviewers. They described it as within walking distance to the Metro, St. Catherines Street, many restaurants, bars and shops, as well as a 24-hour supermarket.

The Bad

They describing not having enough hot water for showers at times, as well as not being able to use the bathroom in a timely fashion. These guests recommended possibly spending the extra money for a room with an ensuite bathroom.
A few reviewers complained about the hotel's "self-catered" breakfast. They felt disappointed with some of the pre-packaged items offered, and also recounting running out of certain items like milk because of the amount of guests partaking.
