The Good
The hotel received ample praise in the reviews used for this analysis, particularly for its design, staff service, and location.

The hotel's design received many positive comments for being modern, minimalist and chic. A few reviewers described the hotel and room furniture as funky. And others said the hotel nicely blended old world charm and a chic environment.

As well, there were many positive comments about the modern and sleek design of the rooms themselves. Numerous guest reviewers remarked that although the rooms were small they were well-appointed and designed to make good use of the space.

The hotel's restaurant and bar, Hambar, also received many comments in the reviews that the food was excellent and the bar a fun, lively atmosphere.

Many reviewers felt the staff were very courteous and attentive, and there were several comments that they were also fun and had good recommendations for things to see and do in the city.

The hotel's location was praised many times in the reviews as being perfect for business travel, near to restaurants and Metro, and for exploring the city's many attractions.
The Bad
Although many guests were quite impressed with the hotel and its service, a few guest complaints were posted online.

Occasionally guests complained about inattentive staff: a bellman who didn't help with luggage or pass along a message to the front desk, a maid that did not provide enough towels during the turndown service visit.

A few guests felt the hallways were too dimly lit, and said the hotel rooms did not meet their expectations for a luxury hotel.

There seemed also to be small irritations from several guests who complained about isolated occurrences:  One guest complained about dusty floors, not enough hooks in the bathrooms for towels, no pay TV as advertised and no slippers provided.
