The Bad
Guests who did not like the hotel complained along a few themes.
Some guests complained about the location. They found it to have a sketchy vibe with homeless people panhandling, were concerned about their cars parked in the lot behind the hotel and found used needles in the parking lot.
Some guests complained about the rooms. They found them poorly maintained and not cleaned to their satisfaction. Recent room complaints included: dusty and mouldy surfaces, stained bed quilt, missing light bulb, old TV with 4 channels, small pillows, uncomfortable bed, no curtains, and dirty carpet.
One recent guest in March 2017 mentioned discovering bed bugs upon inspection of the room and the hotel graciously offered a choice of refund or new room.
Noise was an issue for some. They mentioned hearing their neighbours showering and in the halls, squeaky floors, beds and doors, noisy AC units and construction next door.
A few guests did not like the plain breakfast, with no variety, no fruit and no second cup of coffee possible.
Other comments found: no ice machine on site.
