The Good
The majority of reviews consulted for this analysis were positive with much praise going to the hotel's value, staff, and location.
Many reviewers felt this hotel provided good value. The free Wi-Fi, complimentary breakfast and free airport shuttle were cited as factors which contributed to the hotel's worth.
The hotel's staff were a source of numerous compliments by lodgers. They were characterized as friendly, accommodating, bilingual and helpful in providing directions and area recommendations.
Several guests praised the hotel's location. They described it as close to the highway, the airport, Tim Hortons, and Fairview Mall, and also found it easy to locate.
The Bad
While most of the reviews consulted for this analysis were positive, there were a few common complaints among them, which included the lack of elevator, the rooms, and the free breakfast.
A few guests made mention that the hotel does not have an elevator. These guests found it inconvenient to have to carry their luggage up the stairs to their second floor rooms, and recommended that those with mobility issues book rooms on the first floor.
Although most reviewers were pleased with their accommodations, some guests were not satisfied and said the rooms were small, carpets and mattresses needed replacing, rooms had musty odours, and rooms were showing basic wear and tear.
Some guests said the breakfast room to be too small and they felt the breakfast hours should be lengthened. It should be mentioned however, that many reviewers were pleased with the variety and quality of the food.
