The Bad
While the hotel received many positive comments for its charm and elegance, there were some comments from reviewers who found the hotel to be too old for their preferences.

A few reviewers said the hotel was in need of upgrading, and that the décor was dated, rather than charming. Some found the rooms to be a bit small and others said they could hear everything in the rooms beside theirs due to the hotel's thin walls. As well, there is no elevator in the hotel, and some guest reviewers said the staircase was quite steep.

There were also comments from a few guests who were disappointed their rooms did not have desks or work spaces, and that they were unaware they had to request a room with one.
