Located a 3-minute walk from the Jacques Cartier Bridge and the Papineau metro station, the B&B Le Cartier is suited toward those travellers who prefer a small and centrally-located hotel with easy highway and public transit access.

This hotel has 6 air-conditioned guest rooms and suites, each offering free Wi-Fi, cable TV, and a desk. Hair dryers are available upon request, and certain rooms have a shared bathroom. Standard rooms offer one queen bed, while one and two bedroom suites are also available, and offer various additional amenities such as a DVD player, a mini-fridge, and a kitchenette.

Hotel amenities include a "self-catered" complimentary breakfast, free coffee and tea in the lobby, free parking, and a patio. Pets are not permitted and the hotel is not wheelchair accessible.

Nearby dining options include Restaurant La Mer, and Restaurant Mezcia, which can both be found 3 minutes from B&B Le Cartier on foot. Place Dupuis Shopping Centre is 16-minute walk southwest.

Many guests praised the hotel's staff, characterizing them as welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful with dining recommendations and directions. One guest remarked, "It's amazing how friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and flexible the owner and staff are".

The hotel's location was a source of many compliments by reviewers. They described it as within walking distance to the Metro, St. Catherines Street, many restaurants, bars and shops, as well as a 24-hour supermarket.

Several lodgers were pleased with their rooms during their stay. They found their rooms to be spacious, bright, well-furnished, beautifully decorated and clean.
The Bad

Some guests found that sharing a bathroom with other patrons was an inconvenience. They describing not having enough hot water for showers at times, as well as not being able to use the bathroom in a timely fashion. These guests recommended possibly spending the extra money for a room with an ensuite bathroom.

A few reviewers complained about the hotel's "self-catered" breakfast. They felt disappointed with some of the pre-packaged items offered, and also recounting running out of certain items like milk because of the amount of guests partaking.
