Located in downtown Montreal and roughly a 9-minute walk to Mont Royal metro station, Anne Ma Soeur Anne is geared towards pedestrian travellers who require a centrally-located hotel with extended kitchen amenities.
This hotel has 17 air-conditioned guest rooms, each offering one or two double murphy or wall beds, free Wi-Fi, cable TV, a kitchenette, and a hair dryer. Suites offer two bathrooms and a private terrace. Croissants, juice and bottled water are provided to each room daily, and weekly housekeeping is offered to all guests. Parking is not available on site (there is parking two blocks from the hotel), pets are not permitted and the hotel does not offer wheelchair accessible rooms.
Restaurant La Piazzetta can be found about 10 seconds away on foot, and Restaurant Steak-Frites Saint Paul is about a minute's walk westward. Shopping is available at Place Dupuis, which is a 20-minute walk east of the hotel.

Numerous reviewers praised the hotel's location. They found it to be close to the metro station, several restaurants, shopping on rue St. Denis and Centre Ville. One guest remarked, "If you're planning on being out for the most part of the day and night, this is the place to stay".
The hotel's staff were a source of many compliments by lodgers. They were characterized as extremely friendly, knowledgable, and helpful in solving problems. One reviewer stated the "people who run it are lovely, helpful, and considerate of their guests".
