Overview

Located about a 9-minute drive from Mont-Tremblant ski resort, Cap Tremblant Mountain Resort is suitable for travellers who prefer condo-style accommodations with on-site dining, three pools, a spa and wellness centre and extended kitchen amenities.

Each of the hotel's one- to five-bedroom units offers free Wi-Fi, cable TV, an in-room safe, a full kitchen, a fireplace, a separate bedroom, a living room with a sofabed, a dining area, a DVD/CD player, a jetted tub, a washer and dryer, a hair dryer, a balcony with a BBQ and ski storage.

All rooms are non-smoking and the hotel is not wheelchair accessible. Please note that the units to do not have air conditioning.

Hotel amenities include three outdoor pools, a Geyser pool, a waterslide and kids' amusement park, three hot tubs, a fitness centre, three tennis courts, two indoor golf simulators, a spa and wellness centre, a games room, bicycle rental, meeting/banquet space, a bar, a business centre, a free ski shuttle and free parking. Pets are not permitted.

On-site dining is offered at Il Pinnacolo, which serves dinner daily Thursday through Sunday, as well as brunch on Sunday.

Mont-Tremblant Resort is about an 8-minute drive away, while Golf Tremblant can be found 6 minutes away by car. The Good

The majority of the reviews sourced for this analysis were positive, with much praise going to the hotel's location, rooms and staff.

Numerous reviewers praised the hotel's location. They described it as peaceful, and close to Mont-Tremblant Resort and Village, the beach, Lac Mercier, golfing, restaurants and Scandinave Spa. It was mentioned the hotel would be best suited for those with a vehicle, however.

The hotel's accommodations were enjoyed by many lodgers. They found their rooms to be clean, well equipped, spacious and tastefully decorated, with modern kitchens and beautiful lake and mountain views. A few patrons complained about their lodgings, however (see below).

Several guests were pleased with the level of customer service they received during their stay. They characterized the staff as helpful, efficient, attentive and accommodating.

The Bad

While the majority of reviews consulted for this analysis were positive, there were a few common complaints about noise transfer and the rooms.

Some reviewers complained of noise disturbances during their stay. The majority of these guests reported noise from the nearby racetrack, and a couple of lodgers reported noise from guests in overhead rooms.

Although the majority of travellers praised their clean and well-equipped rooms, a few guests had complaints. They reported uncomfortable beds, missing kitchen utensils, no air conditioning, worn carpets and poor Wi-Fi connectivity.
