Many guests were very well pleased with their stays at this B&B. It offered a reasonably-priced, clean and pleasant room, with lots of free parking as well as a free, generous and delicious homemade breakfast.
Guests who had come to ski or board at Mont Tremblant ski resort, found this small inn to provide a more budget-friendly accommodation over the hillside chain hotels, and guests without cars could catch the bus to the hill nearby.
It also provided close access to St Jovite restaurants, which guests said were better and cheaper than those on the ski hill. The location was also great for guests who came to bike on the trail next to the B&B called "Le P'tit Train du Nord".
The hosts were pleasant and accommodating and offered clean and quaint rooms, each with its own full bathroom. Many guests found the rooms quiet, with comfortable beds and nice views. Guests also found the living room with wood-burning fireplace and relaxing background music to offer a cozy ambiance.
Many were wowed by the free breakfast, with homemade jams, freshly-squeezed orange juice, a fruit smoothy, French Toast, Croque Madame, omelettes and lots of fresh fruit offered. Many praised the homemade creton (pork meat spread) or pate served with freshly baked bread. In the summer, guests could enjoy breakfast on the porch.
There were several disappointments that arose from time-to-time for guests.
Although the B&B received a lot of praise for the rooms there was the occasional complaint online. Complaints regarding the rooms were: small room, small bathroom with small shower, uncomfortable mattress, dim lighting for packing or reading, small double beds (when a queen would fit the room), a cold bathroom and a very loud exhaust fan.
A few said they could hear traffic noise from the busy street and recommended rooms not facing the street.
Once in a while, a guest felt that breakfast started too soon, forcing them to get up early (as they were not able to dictate the breakfast schedule) or too late (for heading out to the slopes). Guests said breakfast was from 7:30 am to 9:30 am.
Several guests complained of smelling smoke, while eating in the kitchen and inside the B&B in general, due to the owner smoking (although it was advertised as smoke free).
Guests who ordered the included dinner package were sometimes disappointed to find out that dinner was not on site, but that they had to walk to town the 1.6 km which took 19 minutes each way, or hire a cab which cost $12 ($6 each way).
