Overview

Located on Highway 132 and about a 1-minute drive from the Matane Ferry Terminal, the Quality Inn Matane is suitable for those travellers who require a hotel with extended kitchen amenities and easy highway and ferry access.

This non-smoking hotel has 71 air-conditioned guest rooms and suites, all of which offer free Wi-Fi, a coffeemaker, a mini-fridge, a desk, and iron and ironing board, and a hair dryer. Standard rooms offer one queen or two double beds, while various suites with additional amenities such as a separate bedroom, a kitchenette, and a jetted tub are also available.

Hotel amenities include an outdoor pool, a sauna, a fitness room, a business centre, a meeting room, and free parking. Pets are not permitted, and the hotel is wheelchair accessible.

The Terrace Restaurant provides a free continental breakfast, (dinner is also served daily), and other nearby restaurants include Restaurant le Rafiot (a 6-minute walk northeast), and Les Confiseries Grand-Maman, which can be found 3 minutes northeast by car.

Shopping can be found at Les Galeries du Vieux Port (a 3-minute drive northeast), while Fournier Stadium is about 4 minutes away by car in downtown Matane. Many lodgers offered compliments to the hotel's staff. They found them to be friendly and helpful, and one guest remarked, "Very courteous front office reception, taking time to explain services offered and answering questions thoroughly".

The hotel's accommodations were appreciated by numerous guests. They described their rooms as clean, quiet, and well-equipped, with beautiful views of the St. Lawrence River and a strong Wi-Fi signal.

Several reviewers praised the hotel's location. They described it to be close to the ferry terminal, Walmart and Tim Hortons, with easy access to downtown Matane and the highway.

The Bad
