Holiday Inn Laval Montreal

Guests really enjoyed their stay at this hotel.

This was a convenient location for every requirement. Guests liked having nearby access to just about everything one would need: the bus stop, shopping, great restaurants, a quick bus or cab ride to Metro for getting around Montreal, the highway and business offices. Some enjoyed the Cosmodome and Sky Venture in the area as well.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, quick to help and quick to address any problems. 

The facilities were well maintained and the dining on site was enjoyed by guests.

Guests often said the rooms were quiet, very clean with comfortable beds and some had nice views of Montreal. 

Some appreciated ample free parking. Many thought it was a good value in a great location. One guest summed it up nicely, "I always stay here. It's very central, reasonably priced and the staff are great."

There were not many complaints, but occasionally the hotel missed a step.

Sometimes guests found longer waits at the front desk and thought the front desk was understaffed. Occasionally guests found somewhat rude personnel at the hotel.

A couple of guests complained of slow service at the restaurant's breakfast, and some, finding it expensive, were disappointed that there was no free breakfast with all room rates.

One guest thought the gym was underwhelming and not as it appeared in the pictures online.

There were a couple of complaints about the pool. One guest found it cool, shallow and oddly shaped for doing laps and another said it was dirty, but this was very rare.
