Overview
Located on Rue Laurier, in downtown Gatineau, this hotel is near a number of Federal Government offices and is a 4-minute drive or 16-minute walk over the Alexandra Bridge to downtown Ottawa attractions. This hotel is popular with business travellers and with guests who want to have easy, close access to Ottawa.
more All of the 133 rooms at this non-smoking hotel have free Wi-Fi, a hair dryer, a mini-fridge, a 42" plasma TV, a coffeemaker and an iron and ironing board. Most rooms offer a view of either the Gatineau Hills or the Ottawa River. Guests can choose between standard rooms (king or double beds) or more spacious suites (king or queen bed and a sofabed, some with a separate bedroom). Pets are not allowed at this hotel.
The on-site Bristrot Cartier serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. There are also many restaurants located over the bridge in Ottawa's Byward Market (20-minute walk, 6-minute drive). On-site amenities include an indoor pool and a gym. Parking is available on site for $10/day.
The Museum of Civilization in Gatineau is within walking distance (a 6-minute walk).
