Quality Inn & Suites & Conference Centre - Gatineau

Many guests enjoyed their stays and found the hotel comfortable and good value for the price.

Guests liked this hotel's proximity to the Promenades Gatineau shopping mall directly across the street, the highway to Montreal and Ottawa and numerous restaurants in walking distance. Some guests also felt that this hotel was well situated close to a number of area parks and green space.

Several reviewers commented favourably on restaurant meals. The breakfast buffet (not free) and the surf and turf buffet were mentioned as being satisfying.

Many felt that for the room price, the hotel offered a comfortable stay and some of these guests planned to return.

Although many guests felt the hotel was well maintained and clean, several guests complained about their rooms. Complaints included mouldy bathroom tiles, musty odours, old and dirty carpets, chipped paint, rusted areas, peeling wallpaper, no blackout drapes, inadequate cooling or heating and a lack of electrical outlets. 

Some guests, without cars, found the hotel a little far to taxi to Ottawa. Some missed having a microwave in the room, or a free breakfast and occasionally guests complained of music from the disco, neighbours or water pipes.
