Overview

Located on Highway 143 just east of the Trans-Canada Highway and about an 8-minute drive from Drummondville's city centre, the Hotel and Suites Le Dauphin is suited to anyone visiting the area or passing through who require a full-service hotel with an indoor pool and extended kitchen amenities.

This non-smoking hotel has 120 air-conditioned guest rooms, each offering free Wi-Fi, cable TV, a coffeemaker, a mini-fridge, a desk, an iron and ironing board and a hair dryer. Standard rooms offer one or two queen beds, while various rooms with additional amenities such as a seating area with a sofabed, and a jetted tub are also available.

Hotel amenities include an indoor pool, a spa, 20,000 square feet of meeting/conference space, fitness facilities, a business centre, and free parking. On-site dining is offered at Globe Trotter Restaurant (serving breakfast and dinner daily) and Le Bistro-Bar which serves lunch and dinner daily and also provides free Wi-Fi and electrical outlets in all booths. Pets are permitted for an additional $15 per pet per day fee, and the hotel offers wheelchair accessibility.

The Drummondville Golf and Curling Club is a 5-minute drive northeast of the hotel, while shopping can be found at Centre Carnaval - Drummondville (about a 2-minute walk northwestward). The Good

Numerous guests were pleased with the level of customer service they received during their stay. They found the staff to be accommodating, friendly, bilingual and efficient.

Many compliments were offered to the hotel's accommodations. Reviewers described their rooms as clean, spacious, well equipped and nicely decorated, with comfortable beds and linens.

The hotel's location was praised by several lodgers who found it to be close to the Trans-Canada Highway, the local arena, the downtown area as well as restaurants and shopping. One reviewer stated, "a good place to stay halfway between Montreal and Quebec City."

The Bad

Some guests complained of noise disturbances during their stay. They reported noise from neighbours in adjacent rooms and rooms overhead, as well as a kids' hockey team being loud in the hallways, and noisy in-room air conditioning units.
