Located a 10-minute drive to downtown Charlottetown, this hotel is well-suited for guests who want to stay slightly outside of the downtown core.

In each of the 55 rooms at this hotel guests can expect free Wi-Fi, a mini-fridge, a flat screen TV, a coffeemaker, a hair dryer and an iron and ironing board. Standard rooms are furnished with queen or double beds. More spacious suites are available with queen or double beds. Some have separate bedroom(s) and/or a jetted tub. Pets are allowed for $10 per night.

Guests are offered a complimentary hot breakfast daily. They can also dine on site at the Dutch Inn Pub (lunch and dinner, Monday to Thursday) and at Henry's Restaurant (dinner daily). On-site amenities include free parking and an indoor pool.

There are a number of points of interest nearby this hotel. The University of Prince Edward Island is just over a 5-minute drive away. Mall shopping is less than a 5-minute drive away at the Charlottetown Mall.The Charlottetown Farmers Market (fresh produce and baked goods) is under a 10-minute drive away. Just over a 30-minute drive away is Cavendish Beach. The Good
The bulk of reviews used for this analysis were positive and guests were most impressed with the size and the modern look of the rooms.

Guests said that rooms were surprisingly large, They said that they were well-laid out, that there was lots of room to manoeuvre in and that there was ample storage space. Guests also said that bathrooms were of a decent size as well.

Rooms were clean and up-to-date, according to guests. There were comments specifically about clean bedding and linens.

Staff were very warm and welcoming. Front desk staff were singled out as being particularly customer-service focused and friendly.

Guests found this hotel's location conveniently close to downtown Charlottetown (less than a 10-minute drive).

There was tasty food and good menu selection at the on-site restaurants, according to guests. Reviewers also felt that the food was reasonably priced. 

A number of guests enjoyed the indoor pool saying that the water was warm and the area was clean.
The Bad
The vast majority of reviews used for this analysis were positive and guest criticisms were rare. There were a handful of negative comments that were isolated.

A few guests complained of loud, rattling air conditioning units. One guest said that her unit made so much noise that it disrupted her sleep. Some guests said that the air conditioning units were ineffective and did not cool the rooms very well.

A couple of guests suggested that linens (towels in particular) were aging and thin, and needed to be replaced.

A couple of guests were inconvenienced by a lack of an elevator at this two-storey hotel. Guests with mobility issues or lots of luggage found climbing the stairs a challenge.
