Overview

The Quality Hotel and Suites Woodstock is located at the end of Bruin Boulevard, a 'dead-end' street, in Woodstock, Ontario. Highway 401 is just to the south of the hotel and Norwich Avenue is just to the hotel's east. The Cedar Creek Golf & Country Club is located to the immediate west of the property while the rail station in Woodstock is roughly 2.8km from the hotel (driving distance - Google Maps).

Hotel facilities include over 10,000 square feet of banquet/meeting space, a restaurant, a lounge, a business centre, free parking (including for trucks and buses), and laundry. Guests at the hotel may use the Goodlife Fitness Centre in the hotel's basement at no extra cost and the hotel has a seasonal outdoor pool.

The hotel has five floors and 136 guest rooms with hair dryers, air conditioning, coffee makers, irons, and ironing boards. Other amenities include mini-fridges, microwaves, free high speed Internet access, and free newspapers. Free hot breakfast is also included with room rates.

Check in time at this hotel starts at 3pm while check out time is at 11am.

The Good

Reviews of this hotel were relatively rare however the ones that were out there were very one-sided: a high percentage of guests expressed an approval of the Quality Hotel and Suites Woodstock. The hotel's breakfast, its guest rooms, and its facilities received regular and consistent praise.

Guests that enjoyed the breakfast were quite common and many of them seemed adamant about the quality of the meal. For example, multiple guests called the breakfast "excellent" or "awesome." The selection that was available received a lot of praise as well as one guest said there "was a good variety" and another guest said there was "pretty much anything you needed."

Rooms at the hotel were consistently described as clean and comfortable. Multiple guests expressed their approval over the beds and many other guests liked the size of their rooms.

Several guests were also satisfied with the hotel's facilities as the pool, the restaurant, and the Goodlife Fitness facility all received some compliments.

The Bad

Guests that did not enjoy their stay at this hotel seemed to be rare as a high percentage of the guests who wrote the limited number of reviews gave the property a perfect score or a near-perfect score.

A couple guests complained about the hotel's price, feeling as though there was better value in the area. Occasionally guests had noise problems at the hotel although the sources of the noise were sporadic. One guest warned of drinking the bottled water in his room as he claimed he was charged $5 for it.

Occasionally a guest felt as though the hotel was older although these comments did not seem to be much of an issue.
