Overview
Located along the Nottawasaga River and about a 9-minute walk to the beach, Riverfront Villas are geared towards travellers who prefer condo-style accommodations with free Wi-Fi, extended kitchen amenities and easy access to the beach.
more Each of the hotel's air-conditioned suites offers free Wi-Fi, cable TV, a DVD player, two or three separate bedrooms, a full kitchen, a coffeemaker, a BBQ, a dining area, a living room with a sofabed, a desk and an iron and ironing board. Units with a jetted tub, a fireplace and a bidet are also available and the hotel is not wheelchair accessible.
The hotel also offers a hot tub, room service, a picnic area, guest laundry and free parking. Pets are not permitted.
Wasaga Beach Provincial Park is roughly a 2-minute walk from the hotel, while Baywood Golf & Country Club can be found 5 minutes away by car. Although there were not many reviews available online at the time of writing, of those consulted, guests showed positive responses towards the hotel's staff, rooms and location.
Guests were pleased with the level of customer service they received during their stay. They characterized the staff as available, responsive and efficient.
The hotel's rooms were enjoyed by reviewers. They described them as well maintained, clean, well equipped and spacious, with comfortable beds. One guest did criticize their lodgings, however (see below).
Travellers praised the hotel's proximity to the beach, the beer store and skiing.
The Bad
As mentioned above, there were very few online reviews available at the time this editorial was written. Of those source, however, one guest found their unit and kitchen to be on the small side and one guest felt the rates were too expensive.
