The Good
The majority of reviews consulted for this analysis were positive with much praise going to the hotel's location, value, and staff.
Most guests were pleased with the hotel's location. They liked being close to York University's Gledon Campus, Canada's Wonderland and Vaughan Mills Shopping Centre. It was also mentioned that it was close to several highways (7, 400, and 407).
Several reviewers found the hotel to be high in value, citing the price and the free extras (parking, Wi-Fi, breakfast) as value-added features. These guests also said that the in-room mini-fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker also added to the hotel's value.
The staff were a source of many compliments and were described as friendly and attentive. One guest stated they "went above and beyond to provide us with directions".
The Bad
While most of the reviews consulted for this analysis were positive, there were a few common complaints among them about the free continental breakfast and noise disturbances.
Some guests were disappointed by the included breakfast. They felt there was little variety and that the portions were small. Guests also said that they had to pick up their breakfast vouchers each day prior to eating instead of at check-in, which was considered an inconvenience.
A few guests complained about noise transfer during their stay. They described hearing noise from patrons in the hallways, and some stated the walls were "paper thin" and that they could hear what their neighbours were saying.
