This property is located 2-minutes from Highway 401 and 4-minutes (southward) from downtown Trenton. This hotel would be suitable as a stopover hotel or for travellers who want to explore the area by car and who need easy access to the highway.more
This hotel is 100% smoke free and pet-free and rooms come with free Wi-Fi, 40" flat panel cable TV, a mini-fridge, a coffee/tea maker, an iron and ironing board, individual climate control and free local calls. There is no elevator on site.
Free continental breakfast is available for guests daily from 7 am to 10 am. There is no restaurant on site.
Free on-site parking is also available and includes truck and bus parking. Other on-site amenities include a games room, business centre, guests laundry facilities and picnic area.
The Trenton's town gym is located next door and is available to guests up until 10 pm. It features an indoor heated pool, hot tub, squash and raquetball court.
Sandbanks Provincial Park is 55-minutes away by car. Local attractions, like The National Air Force Museum of Canada and Trenton Canadian Air Forces Base, are a 10-minute drive southward of the hotel. A few restaurants/lounges are nearby, like Duncan's Place Sports Bar and Grill, Queensway Roadhouse and Black Bear Pub and Restaurant, all within a 1-minute drive or 2-minute walk from the hotel. This hotel is under new ownership and has done some remodeling. There are not a lot of reviews to go by, but of those posted for the new brand, (and considered for this editorial) the majority were of a positive nature.more
Many guests characterized the staff as polite and friendly and helpful.
They said the rooms given were cleaned to their satisfaction and were comfortable. Guests seemed to be pleased with the renovations completed (replaced windows and doors) and said they were ongoing. Appreciated also was the air conditioning that worked well and flat screen TV in the room. One guest commented on the rooms saying they were large and well maintained.

The provided free breakfast was basic but appreciated with toast, cereal, muffins, fresh fruit and waffles.
The heated pool next door at the town's local gym and sauna were a highlight for some guests.

Several guests felt the hotel was good value. One guest mentioned being able to get another 15% off by signing up for a free America's Best Value Card online.
Most of the reviews considered for this editorial and posted recently for Canada's Best Value Inn Trenton were of a positive nature, however there was some negative feedback offered.
There was some mention of train noise from the rooms at the back of the hotel by a couple of guests, although so many guests seemed to go out of their way to mention that the hotel was quiet.
