Located in the heart of downtown Toronto, this fine luxury hotel is situated between two parks, on a quiet street in the entertainment district, with Roy Thompson Hall and the Alexandra Royal Theatre less than a 3-minute walk away.

All rooms include free Wi-Fi, free bottled water, free shoe shine, a 42" flat screen HDTV and DVD player, a Bose sound system, a coffeemaker, a stocked mini-bar, a desk, iPod docking, an iron and ironing board, Frette bed linen, dual vanities, separate rain shower and tub, heated bathroom floors, in-mirror bathroom 19" HDTV, a lighted shaving/make-up mirror, bathrobes, slippers, floor-to-ceiling windows with heated perimeter flooring, a laptop-size safe, a sitting area, an umbrella and climate control.

The Good
Guests who stayed most often gave the hotel full marks in their reviews. They found this hotel to offer elegant rooms and public spaces, but without the pretentiousness that can often accompany luxury hotels. Instead guests found a relaxing atmosphere as well as a good place to bring kids.
more The staff provided a welcoming, calm atmosphere, plus quick and attentive service. They were described as accommodating, highly-skilled, and genuinely caring.
Guests enjoyed the rooms. They loved the southern views of the lake and CN Tower, the luxury amenities and found the rooms beautifully appointed, spacious and quiet.
Guests enjoyed the dining and drinks on site. Whether at TOCA, the bar or the club lounge, guests often found the food and drinks excellent.
Guests thought the spa was the best in Toronto and the fitness centre was well equipped, large and clean, with good music.
The location offered great access to downtown attractions, the financial district and Toronto's many entertainment venues, restaurants and shopping.
The Bad
There was very little said of a negative nature recently, however there was some mention of the high cost of valet parking at the hotel or the high cost of a room, although this was quite rare, with guests typically expressing the good value found at the hotel.
