Overview
Located in the Art and Design District, this property is situated among galleries, restaurants and boutique shops. Each room of this hotel is unique in size and decor and features original artwork and a handmade doll on every bed. This property is well-suited for guests who prefer boutique-style accommodations and an artsy atmosphere.
more This hotel is 100% smoke-free and all rooms include free Wi-Fi, a 27" flat screen TV, a DVD player, iPod docking station, a glass wall shower (no tub), windows that open, safe deposit boxes, snack and beverage selection and evening turn-down service. Rooms are furnished with either one twin bed or one queen bed. This property offers one suite that provides more spacious accommodations and features two flat screen TVs and a daybed.
Parking is available on site for an additional fee of $25 per day by reservation only. A public parking lot (Green P) is located across the street from the hotel and charges $7.50 per 12 hours.
There are multiple on-site dining options: a cafe, a lounge, a restaurant and a rooftop bar (Sky Yard). Food is available from 7:30 am to 11 pm, Sunday through Thursday and from 7:30 am to 1 am on Friday and Saturday. Smoking is permitted at the rooftop bar. Live entertainment events are also available

The Kensington Market area (dining and outdoor farmers' market), Art Gallery of Ontario and Chinatown are all about 20 minutes away via public transit. The intersection of the Eaton Centre and Nathan Philips Square are both about 23-minute ride away on public transit, while Front Street area attractions, including the Rogers Centre, CN Tower and Metro Toronto Convention Centre, can be accessed within 25 minutes via public transit (or a 15-minute drive).

The Bad
There were very few concerns mentioned by the guests who reviewed this property, among the reviews used for this analysis. However a few guests mentioned some noise disturbances. One reviewer said that she could hear traffic noise, while a couple of other guests said that they heard sounds from neighbouring rooms.
A couple of guests did not appreciated the glass wall showers and thought that this design element did not allow for sufficient privacy. A couple of other reviewers found the lack of an on-site elevator to be an inconvenience.
