Located about a 4-minute walk from Bloor Subway Station and a 4-minute drive from Toronto's city centre, Comfort Hotel Downtown Toronto is geared towards travellers who require a centrally located hotel with free Wi-Fi and easy access to public transit.

Each of this smoke-free hotel's rooms comes equipped with air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, cable TV, a coffeemaker, an iron and ironing board and a hair dryer. Rooms with a mini-fridge, a microwave and a sitting area with a sofabed are also available. The hotel is not wheelchair accessible.

On-site amenities include a 24-hour business centre, two meeting rooms and an elevator. Parking is available for $21 per day. Pets are not permitted.

University of Toronto - St. George Campus and the Toronto Eaton Centre are both roughly a 5-minute drive from the hotel, while the CN Tower can be found 10 minutes away by car. Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) is a 32-minute drive away. (All travel time estimates: Google Maps)

The Good
The majority of the reviews sourced for this analysis were positive, with praise going to the hotel's location, staff and rooms. 

The hotel's location was praised by numerous reviewers, who found it close to public transit, restaurants, shopping, Toronto Reference Library, Varsity Movie Theatre, the Eaton Centre, the Royal Ontario Museum and Panasonic Theatre. One patron noted, "The hotel location is close to the Yonge/Bloor TTC station (also the luxury shopping district) which is a cross station so you can get pretty much anywhere on the ttc line from there, alternatively you could walk to eaton centre (DT core) fairly easy, about 15-20 mins along the way there were lots of places to eat".

Many lodgers were pleased with the level of customer service they received. They characterized the staff as accommodating, friendly and helpful with recommendations and directions.

Several travellers were pleased with their accommodations at the hotel. They described their rooms as clean, quiet, spacious, bright and well equipped, with comfortable beds and pillows, good water pressure and reliable Wi-Fi. A few lodgers had complaints about their rooms, however (see below).
The Bad
While the majority of reviews consulted for this analysis were positive, there were a few complaints about the rooms and noise transfer.

Although several guests enjoyed their bright and comfortable rooms, a few lodgers criticized their accommodations. They reported dated decor, small bathrooms and a few plumbing issues.

A few travellers complained of noise disturbances during their stay. They reported street noise, as well as noise from guests in adjacent rooms and the bar next door.
