The Good
Guest reviews read recently for this report were quite mixed, although the general impression was that the hotel offered an average room with friendly staff.
Guests that liked the location of the hotel typically referenced the property's close proximity to major roadways. Many guests mentioned that the 401 highway, for example, was accessible at a short distance from the hotel. Some guests also mentioned that the 404 highway was nearby and occasionally a guest indicated that the Don Valley Parkway, a roadway that led to downtown Toronto, was easy to get to from the hotel.
Some guests were also happy that they were able to access the Internet in their rooms for free and many guests felt those rooms were large or spacious.
The staff of this hotel was definitely a highlight for many guests who experienced warm and accommodating service. They were sometimes mentioned by name.
The Bad
Guests provided mixed opinions in the reviews read recently for this editorial.
more It seems that the property is older and some guests were therefore more critical of the hotel, especially those in non-renovated rooms seemed to express that it was not worth the price being charged for the room.
Some guests complained about extra charges for parking, although there were some who felt that $8 was quite reasonable.
A few guests said that Wi-Fi was intermittent during their stay, but again others found the Wi-Fi to work well.
