The Good
Guests that stayed at this hotel were very impressed with the property and there were only very occasional complaints in reviews. Much more frequently, guests praised this hotel with the location and staff both receiving high marks.

Several guests that liked the location of the hotel appreciated that there were a lot of shops near the property. The "Bloor shopping area" was a big part of that and several guests also liked that there was a nearby subway station. Some guests also found tourist attractions in the area such as museums and art galleries.

The staff at the hotel received tons of praise and they were practically unscathed by the reviewers. They were often called at least "friendly" and/or "helpful" while many guests said that they were welcoming and professional. The customer service appeared to be top notch or "fantastic" and one guest, for example, said the "level of customer service...was above (his/her) expectations."

Several guests also liked the restaurant food and/or the rooftop bar at the hotel. One guest claimed that the bar was "one of the top 10 in the world," an opinion that seems hard to gauge but reflects the patron's high opinion of the facility.

Most guests that commented on room cleanliness were satisfied and multiple guests felt as though the rooms were spacious. Lastly, many guests indicated that they liked the breakfast at the hotel's restaurant and one guest called his/her's "top class."

The Bad
There were only occasional complaints about this highly rated property as the large majority of guests were at least satisfied with the hotel.

However there were some guests that felt as if the property has some limitations regarding the facilities that it offered. Multiple guests were somewhat disappointed that the hotel did not have a pool.

There were also some guests that did not like the condition of the hotel. One guest, for example, felt that the "South tower rooms (were) a little outdated." Another guest referred to one part of the hotel as "the older part" of the property, perhaps referring to the same section of the hotel.

However most complaints were somewhat random as opposed to being concentrated on major issues.
