This hotel is located on a quiet side street in downtown Toronto, in the heart of the Entertainment District, just a 3-minute walk to the TIFF Bell Lightbox and the many bars and restaurants of King Street.
What’s nearby? The Princess of Wales Theatre is a 3-minute walk and Roy Thompson Hall (home of Toronto Symphony Orchestra) is a 7-minute walk from the hotel. The CN Tower, the Rogers Centre and the Metro Toronto Convention Centre are all a 6-minute walk away. Ripley's Aquarium is 9 minutes away on foot. The Eaton Centre, downtown's largest mall, is a 23-minute walk or 15 minutes by street car.

The Good
Guests enjoyed this hotel for it modern amenities, cleanliness, friendly staff and convenient location.
more Guests found the rooms stylish, quiet and comfortable. Guests enjoyed comfortable beds with luxury linens, rainfall showers, deep bathtubs, large HDTVs and Bose sound systems. The mini-bar items were reasonably priced and rooms were often described as impeccably clean.
The location was very convenient for accessing downtown attractions, public transit and restaurants.
Guests often enjoyed the continental breakfast offered and found it to be ample, delicious and with good variety.
Staff were attentive, courteous and helpful and provided a pleasant stay for many of the guests. They were quick and willing to offer assistance and accommodate guest requests.
Guests enjoyed dining on site. They had excellent and prompt room service, and guests enjoyed tasty and nutritious meals of varying ethnic cuisines at Victor Restaurant.
The Bad
Some guests found areas that the hotel needed to improve and they offered their critique online.
Recent room complaints were: room too dark, bad views, room cramped, expensive room rates, room was very hot, noise from nightclubs and streets nearby late into the night, and rooms in need of a refresh in design and material.
Bathroom complaints included: poorly-designed bathrooms allow too much noise through with amplified hollow sounds and doors that don't quite shut, no bathroom fan, poor ventilation in bathroom, poor water pressure and blinds on glass shower walls don't offer complete privacy.
Some guests complained about the dining on site: no lunch service at Victors, limited menu choices at Victor, late night room service had minimal selection and breakfast was underwhelming.
Other recent complaints found were: unexpected and expensive parking charge came to $50, hotel understaffed, dog allowed close to our dining table at Victor Restaurant, lobby was dirty and there was no bar/lounge on site.
