It offers comfortable amenities for budget prices in a central and convenient Thunder Bay location, suitable for both business and leisure travellers visiting the area. It's indoor pool, free breakfast with fresh waffles and 2 room suites are popular with families.

The Good
Guests who stayed at the Days Inn and Suites Thunder Bay were very happy with the hotel and many guests mentioned that they frequented this hotel. The hotel's location, its cleanliness, its staff, and the breakfast all received lots of praise from guest reviewers.
Guests found the hotel's location convenient to airport, gas station, shopping and many enjoyed good dining in walking distance. Some guests also said that the property was central in Thunder Bay while some motorists were able to get to highways or expressways with ease. Related to the hotel's location, several guests indicated that their stay was a quiet one.
Many guests considered the hotel to be clean, fresh and comfortable. Guests often spoke about the cleanliness of the hotel in the reviews, and how well the hotel was maintained. Occasionally guests also said it was well appointed as well, with fair-sized rooms and comfortable beds.
The staff seemed to have 'made it all happen' at the hotel. These were very courteous and accommodating individuals that treated guests with respect and made the guests feel like returning to this hotel, many of which did.
The breakfast at the hotel was considered good by multiple guests and some guests seemed to like the available selection at breakfast as they listed many items, which included cereals, self-made waffles, fruits, and breads.
Lastly, some guests were appreciative of the fact that the hotel had a pool, especially families with children who enjoyed pleasant and fun experiences there. Those who evaluated the pool said it was never busy (or overcrowded), but always clean and tidy.
The Bad
Guest complaints for this hotel were rare and without much concentration on any particular issue, as the few complaints that appeared online seemed to have been isolated occurrences.
One guest said he encountered slow Wi-Fi, such as he could not accomplish his work without creating a hot spot through his cell phone, however, other guests praised the hotel without mentioning Wi-Fi at all. Another guest said his shower was not warm enough, although others did not complain about this and there was some mention of good shower pressure at the hotel.
A couple of guests mentioned having noisy AC units and one said his bathroom fan was noisy also.
