Overview

Located a 10-minute drive to the Canadian/US border and about a 6-minute drive from Sault Ste. Marie's city centre, The Quattro Hotel & Conference Centre is popular with business and vacation travellers who require a centrally-located hotel with conference space and an indoor pool.

This non-smoking hotel has 157 air-conditioned guest rooms and suites, each offering free Wi-Fi, cable TV, a coffeemaker, a mini-fridge, a microwave, a desk, a seating area with a sofabed, an iron and ironing board, and a hair dryer. Rooms with wet bars and bathrobes are also available.

Hotel amenities include an indoor pool, a sauna, a hot tub, a spa, fitness facilites, a business centre, 8 meeting/conference rooms and free parking. Pets are not permitted and the hotel offers accessible rooms. A free continental breakfast is served daily, and on-site dining is provided at Quattro Vinotecca (open for lunch and dinner daily).

The hotel's rooms were a source of many compliments by lodgers. They were described as spacious, well equipped, clean and modern, with comfortable beds and linens, and great decor.

Several guests were pleased with the hotel's food, both at the free breakfast and at the on-site restaurant. The breakfast was described as having many hot and cold items of good quality, while the restaurant's food and service were described as excellent and outstanding.

The Bad

A couple of lodgers complained of noise transfer during their stay. They reported children's sports teams running and yelling in the hallway and the breakfast room, which they described as being very disruptive. It should be noted however, that most reviewers found their rooms to be quiet.
