One guest explained that he was given a room with no working heater (during cold weather in the spring) and when he went to the front desk to ask for a portable heater, the door to the office area was locked and there was nobody around to let him in. He was surprised that this had not been addressed when he had checked in and that a heater had not been placed in his room before his arrival. Another guest also found his room to be extremely cold.
