Overview

This hotel is located a 5-minute drive from Saint Catharines city center and offers business amenities and on-site recreational facilities and dining. This property would be well-suited for both leisure guests and business travellers.

The hotel is 100% smoke free and offers 181 recently renovated rooms (June 2011) over 9 floors, each with free Wi-Fi and wired internet, cable TV, pay-per-view movies, in room video checkout, a working desk and chair, a hair dryer, a coffee/tea maker, a microwave, a mini-fridge, an iron and ironing board, individual climate control and complimentary newspaper. Cribs and rollaway beds are available upon request. Suites may feature a sofabed, separate living area, jetted tub and fireplace.

Free parking is available to guests during their stay. Pets are permitted to stay for a fee of $15 per night.

JJ Kapps Backyard and Grill, the on-site restaurant, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner is open daily from 7 am to 12 am. Timothy's Coffee lounge, also on-site (located in the lobby) is open daily from 7 am to 11 pm.

Other on-site amenities include Parkway Lanes Sports and Entertainment Centre (on-site bowling alley), an indoor pool, whirlpool, sauna, fitness centre, business centre (copy/print/fax), guest laundry, dry cleaning service, a conference centre and complimentary Wi-Fi throughout.

The Pen Centre (shopping centre) is a 9-minute drive south of the hotel. Niagara-On-The-Lake and Port Dalhousie is a 28-minute drive north from the hotel. The Good

The majority of reviews used for this analysis were positive and guests were happy with their stay. Guests were impressed with the rooms, praised the staff and service, liked the location, enjoyed the beds and indoor pool and appreciated the on-site dining options.

Many guests were impressed with the appearance and cleanliness of the rooms. They described the rooms as clean, comfortable and modern.

The staff were complimented for being friendly and responsive.

The Bad
