Overview
This motel-style property is just off the QEW, a 6-minute drive from downtown St. Catharines. It offers budget rooms with an outdoor pool and free parking about 6 minutes away from Port Dalhousie and 15 minutes from Niagara Falls by car.
Both smoking and non-smoking rooms are available. All 50 rooms come with free Wi-Fi, free local calls, a flat screen cable TV with ESPN and Showtime, a mini-fridge, a microwave, a desk and chair, an iron and ironing board, a hair dryer and air conditioning. Rooms are furnished with 1 or 2 double beds, 1 or 2 queen beds or 1 king bed. Some rooms offer balconies and drive-up access.
Free parking is available on site for cars and oversize vehicles. Pets weighing less than 25 lbs are permitted to stay for $10 per day.
Guests are offered morning pastry and orange juice or coffee, and free coffee and tea are available in the main office. Nearby restaurants in walking distance include Wildfire Grill House & Lounge, McDonald's, KFC, Tim Hortons and Jack Astor's Bar & Grill, all within a 4-minute walk.

The reviews showed mixed opinions from reviewers when it came to the comfort of the rooms and the room price.

Some complaints listed in the reviews regarding the rooms were: no outlets for charging devices, a mouldy shower curtain, a peeling tub, a dirty ring in toilet, old and stained bedding and dirty carpets, AC units inefficient, mattress did not fit bed, traffic noise from the QEW, a non-working mini-fridge, poor Wi-Fi, doors that did not lock properly, non-functioning remotes, ants in the rooms and improperly cleaned rooms.
Although some guests thought this hotel was reasonably priced, some guests felt they had overpaid. As well, the sign on the outside of this motel, with a very low room rate displayed, gave the impression to some guests that the price was much lower than they were ultimately charged upon reserving, which they felt was misleading. (The manager explained that the low price posted on the sign was not a regular nightly rate but an extended stay rate.)
