Clean but dated Renfrew hotel with outdoor pool, mini-kitchens, restaurant & free parking

The Good
Many saw this hotel as offering a comfortable room and stay and guests who were more pleased with the hotel were usually impressed with the staff's service, liked it's convenience to Highway 17, were pleased to be able to park large vehicles and trailers on a well-sized lot and enjoyed comfortable, restful sleeps.
The staff definitely made a good impression with their guests. They offered extra assistance when needed and guests found them to be always friendly, competent and courteous.
The restaurant added to the charm with its pleasant atmosphere and delicious meals.
Many seemed to also enjoy the rooms. They were pleased to have clean and well appointed rooms that offered a good night's sleep, a hot shower with good water pressure and windows that opened for fresh air.
The Bad
There were some guests who felt the hotel did not deliver enough for the price charged and they were critical of a few things.
Some guests felt their rooms lacked the expected comfort. These were either in a smaller room with a noisy AC unit or bathroom fan, or near to noisy elevators and ice machines. Some complained of having no mini-fridge or microwave.
The hotel is located on the outskirts of Renfrew, and although it's in walking distance to Walmart and an A&W, there's really not much else around, requiring a car to get to the town centre. Some guests felt that the room price was too high for the out-of-the-way location.
