This hotel is located just off the Trans-Canada Highway (417) and a 5-minute walk from the St. Laurent Shopping Centre. It provides a comfortable budget stay about a 9-minute drive from downtown Ottawa.
The hotel has 109 smoke-free rooms on 7 floors with elevator access.
All rooms include free Wi-Fi, free local calls, a 27" or 32" LCD TV with cable, a coffeemaker, a mini-fridge, a DVD player, a desk with ergonomic chair, an iron and ironing board, a hair dryer and climate control.
Some rooms include a sofabed, a microwave and a jetted tub. Accessible rooms are available.
Rooms are furnished with 2 double beds, 1 queen bed or 1 king bed.
Free parking is available on site.

The Good
Guests found this hotel to provide a comfortable budget stay, with friendly staff.
They often spoke of the property as renovated and well maintained, with comfortable beds in good-sized rooms. Some were pleased to have a mini-fridge and microwave provided and occasionally guests even mentioned pretty views from their rooms on the higher floors.
It's proximity to the highway was a big plus, and many mentioned having restaurants and a mall in walking distance.
Guests found the staff friendly, efficient and honest. One guest received back an expensive pair of sandals which the hotel mailed to her, having searched for them for more than one day.
Although the free breakfast was quite basic, many guests said they were pleased to have something to start the day with, that was not an added cost.
Many guests seemed to agree that this hotel offered good value, appreciated the free parking, and found it nicer than other hotels in the area.
The Bad
There was some negative feedback offered by guests in reviews posted online.
more Some guests described the hotel as dated and occasionally guests found something that needed a repair, or a noisy AC unit. One recent guest felt the room lighting was too dim and the pillows too puffy.
A few guests found the breakfast area, that was in the lobby, a little cramped. Some complained that the breakfast was lacking good coffee, fresh fruit or had stale muffins.
Occasionally a guest would say that the location was a bit far from downtown, especially for those without cars.
And a few guests complained that microwaves and coffeemakers were placed in the bathroom instead of in the main bedroom area.
