Located just off Queensway Highway and roughly a 15-minute drive from Ottawa's city centre, the Quality Inn Orleans is geared towards business or leisure travellers who want a hotel with easy highway access that is near, but not in, the city centre.
This 100% smoke-free hotel has 63 air-conditioned guest rooms and suites, each offering free Wi-Fi, cable TV, a coffeemaker, a mini-fridge, a microwave, a desk, a DVD player, an iron and ironing board and a hair dryer. Standard rooms offer one king or two queen beds, while one-bedrooms suites additionally offer a jetted tub, a separate bedroom and a living room.
Hotel amenities include an indoor pool, a hot tub, fitness facilities, meeting/banquet space, a business centre, guest laundry facilities, a sundry shop, a free continental breakfast and free parking. The hotel is wheelchair accessible and the hotel has elevators. Pets are not permitted.

Numerous reviewers complimented the hotel's location, and found it to be close to highway access, shopping, restaurants, the police station (next door), downtown Ottawa and the convention centre.
The hotel's staff were praised by many guests. They were characterized as friendly, professional and helpful. Several guests felt they provided an efficient check-in and check-out service.
Several lodgers were pleased with their accommodations at this hotel. They described their rooms as clean, well-equipped, modern and quiet, with comfortable beds. It should be mentioned however, that a few guests had problems with their rooms (see below).
The Bad

While some guests were pleased with the hotel's breakfast and described it as well-stocked, some reviewers had complaints. These guests were disappointed there were no hot items (besides waffles) or fruit, and felt the selection was limited.
Although the majority of guests were pleased with their well-equipped and spacious rooms, a few lodgers felt that the cleaning staff did the bare minimum, and that the rooms could have used better cleaning.
Noise disturbances were mentioned by a few guests, who complained of a noisy in-room radiator, as well as slamming doors and loud children in the hallways.
