The Bad
Some guests offered suggestions for improvement.
Recent room complaints were: room/bathroom was small, poor lighting in bathroom, low-quality tissue, uncomfortable bed, no extra chair but the desk chair, air was very dry, difficulty adjusting temperature, TV sound was controlled to half volume, could not use own cables on TVs, old wood smell in closet, no light switch on wall when you enter the room and bottled water in the room cost $4.
Noise was a disturbance for some. They blamed heaters/AC fan in room, children running in the hallways, sounds from neighbouring rooms, toilets flushing, doors closing, outdoor traffic, outdoor Winterlude activities and construction near the hotel in May 2017.
A few guests found the service slow at the restaurant and bar and the food lacking in quality as well as expensive.
Other comments found were: hallways were dark, pool was a little dated and dark with some rusty hinges, pool water was a little cold for toddlers, and free Wi-Fi did not provide access to streaming services.
