Overview
This property is situated across from the Butler's Barracks National Historic Site, which is a 3-minute walk away. This hotel promotes itself as the only five-star country inn in Ontario and is well suited for guests who are looking for a resort-style or spa-inspired getaway.
This property is smoke free and all rooms include free Wi-Fi, a 37" flat screen TV with pay-per-view movies, a coffeemaker, bathrooms with marble countertops and bathrobes. Select rooms also include a fireplace or a jetted tub. Suites provide more spacious accommodations and include a jetted tub and/or a fireplace, free local calls and a 42" flat screen TV.
Free parking is available on site. A free shuttle service to destinations in the Niagara-on-the-Lake area is available on demand (subject to availability). Pets under 15 lbs are permitted in select ground-floor rooms for an additional fee of $35 per night.

Among the reviews used for this analysis, the staff were the most complimented aspect of this property. The front desk agents were frequently described as friendly, helpful and accommodating. One couple said, "the staff really looked after us, even booking our theatre tickets at the last minute". However, there were also a couple of complaints about staff (see below).
