The Good
The majority of the reviews sourced for this analysis were positive, with much praise going to the hotel's staff, rooms and breakfast.
Many guests praised the hotel's staff, characterizing them as accommodating, welcoming and helpful with directions and recommendations. One patron noted, "The hosts have gone to extensive efforts to put together information and recommendations for restaurants and wineries in the NotL area. Not only that, they have gone the extra step of getting for their guests coupons for complimentary desserts from the former and gratis tastings from the latter".
The hotel's accommodations were enjoyed by numerous reviewers. They described their rooms as clean, well maintained, well equipped and quiet, with comfortable beds and linens. A couple of guests had complaints about their lodgings, however (see below).
Several travellers were pleased with the hotel's free breakfast, describing it as delicious, filling and tasty. One guest remarked, "The food was great. We started off with some fruit, then some amazing baked french toast with bacon, maple syrup, chives and tomatoes on top. Finished with a great dessert which was similar to an angel food cake topped with a peach and plum(I think) sauce and whipped cream. We were definitely full after our breakfast".
