Located about a 5-minute walk from the Clifton Hill area, the Imperial Hotel & Suites is geared to travellers who want to be near to the attractions, entertainment and restaurants in Niagara Falls.

The Good
The reviews sourced for this analysis were mixed with guests who found the hotel to have some redeeming features and guests who did not like the hotel at all.
The hotel's location was praised by numerous reviewers, who found it close to the Falls, restaurants, shopping, Fallsview Casino, attractions and Clifton Hill.
Several lodgers were satisfied with their accommodations at the hotel. They described their rooms as clean and spacious. Many guests were disappointed with their lodgings, however (see below).
Several guests felt the hotel had reasonable room rates.
The Bad
Guests who had negative comments were many, in the reviews consulted for this report, and complaints were made along various themes.
They reported dated decor, worn fixtures and carpets, cleaning issues, stained bedding, carpets and furniture, musty odours, cigarette odours in non-smoking rooms, mouldy bathrooms, old TVs, poor channel selection and poor reception and noise transfer from other rooms.
Others were focused on poor maintenance and pointed out areas that needed fixing or updating.
Some guests also complained about the pool area not being clean with brown water in the hot tub and the room smelling very musty.
Several guests complained of non-working Wi-Fi in their rooms.
Staff were sometimes complimented for being friendly and accommodating, and sometimes criticized for not being that friendly and even being rude or lazy.
A few reviewers were disappointed with the added fee for parking ($12.20 per day, as noted above). They felt it was overpriced and should have been included in the room rate and some were not expecting to pay extra for parking. Guests also complained of being charged extra for a safe which they were not pre-warned about nor had they ordered a safe.
