Located on Clifton Hill, (known as the "Street of Fun by the Falls"), the Thriftlodge Clifton Hill is situated in downtown Niagara Falls, and 16.8 km (approximately 21 minutes driving time) from Niagara District Airport (YCM).

Shopping is also close to the hotel, such as Canada One Outlets which features 40 brand name stores (roughly 10 minutes driving time), the Fun Factory for gifts and souvenirs (approximately 21 seconds walking time), or Clare's Harley-Davidson at the Falls (approximately 4 seconds walking time).
