Guests typically enjoyed this hotel and it scored well in the online reviews.
Guests liked the location. It was within walking distance of Niagara Falls attractions, restaurants, shopping and the WeGo bus stop and far from the noise of Clifton Hill. Some liked being connected by a skywalk to the casino and additional restaurants as well as shopping.
Guests found the hotel comfortable and clean with rooms that were typically well appointed with comfortable beds. Some rooms had great views of the Falls and guests often recommended rooms on the higher floors (33 and up) in the north or south tower.
Guests usually liked the staff. They were helpful with area information and directions and guests found pleasant housekeeping staff.
Guests enjoyed dining on site. They mentioned the stunning views from the Watermark Restaurant on the 33rd floor (although portions were small), a very good breakfast buffet with made-to-order omelettes on the main floor and good meals at Pranzo Italian Grill which one guest described as similar to Olive Garden. Brasa, the Brazilian steakhouse offered good dining and value, a nice atmosphere and live music on the weekends.

Room complaints found were: old mattress, dusty surfaces, not enough towels provided in room, furniture was worn and stained, pillows smelled bad, comforter old and no longer white, sheets felt like cardboard, stained towels, stained carpet, room needed a good deep clean--dirty carpets, very small and awkwardly-shaped room, small closet space, washroom was small, ants found in the bathroom, water dripping from light fixture in bathroom, a broken sofabed, comforters too big, bathroom not clean enough, rooms lacked a microwave
Service complaints found were: computers were down and it took hours to check in, staff unfriendly, room key card kept deactivating, waterslide not open during the expected hours posted online/or not early enough, long queues for the elevator,
Guests felt the hotel could have offered better value and complained over no free breakfast or freebies except coffee and tea in the room, extra charges for parking, hidden fees or "fake tax" (tourism fee), a $3 a day eco fee and expensive room and restaurant costs. Some said the hotel would not waive the tourism fee when asked, although it is technically optional. One recent guest said the hotel charged an extra $10 to turn on the mini-fridge in the room.
Wi-Fi received lower scores and sometimes guests mentioned it was poor quality.
Some guests complained of rude and uncaring staff who did not ensure the guest's satisfaction. Some who thought they had booked a fallsview room received a poor view with a concrete wall.
