Four Points by Sheraton Niagara Falls Fallsview

Guests usually had a comfortable and pleasant stay at this hotel.

They liked the location. It was walking distance to restaurants, shopping, Falls attractions and was connected to the Fallsview Casino, which guests liked to access for cheap weekday parking ($5) and entertainment. The WeGo bus stop was right outside the hotel.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. Guests spoke of comfortable beds, spacious rooms, good shower pressure and working AC. Some rooms had great falls views.

The pool was well liked. Guests said it not busy and enjoyable with plenty of towels, good seating and two hot tubs.

Guests were sometimes dissatisfied with their stay.

Extra charges were an irritant. These included an unexpected tourism fee that guests had inadvertently signed onto when they registered, parking charges, local calls and bottled water in the room.

Guests often found the restaurants on site overpriced and uninspiring, especially the IHOP and Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. Even Starbucks was $2 more per drink according to one guest.

Some guests found disappointing and obstructed views from their rooms whether city view or fallsview and some even felt misled by the pictures or the hotel's advertising.

Other room complaints included: a loud AC unit, stains on the curtains, small room and window, shower did not fully close and water leaked onto the floor, room was hot, no mini-fridge or microwave included in the room and TV had AV cord disabled so you couldn't watch your own movies or play iTunes.

Hotel complaints included: the pool area smelled heavily of chlorine, it was awkward to access the pool (had to walk across the lobby to get to another elevator), the TVs on the fitness machines didn't work, there were long waits for the elevator and valet from time to time and the parking across the busy street was a bit of a walk with luggage.

Guests were often dissatisfied with the staff, although some found them courteous and professional.
