The Good
Guests typically enjoyed their stay at this motel, finding it both comfortable and affordable, especially for a tourist hot spot such as Niagara Falls.

This motel was in a good location. It was out of the noisier touristy zone but still had restaurants, groceries, drug store, bus stop and other amenities in close walking distance. Guests could access attractions and shopping by car or the Red Line WeGo bus.

The rooms, although older and dated, were clean according to guests and well equipped with fridges, microwaves and well-stocked kitchens making it easy to prepare meals. Guests liked the new laminate floors and fluffy towels and many found the beds comfortable.

The outdoor pool was clean and fun for the kids, and BBQs and picnic area were a great part of the stay for many summertime guests. They enjoyed pleasant flower gardens, a quiet outdoor area with patio chairs to visit with friends and family and the added value of being able to grill outdoors in the summer.

Many enjoyed the free continental breakfast. Guests described it as filling, having lots of choice including toast, croissants, muffins, fruit, scrambled and hard boiled eggs, yogurt, juice and coffee. One guest said, "The breakfast was healthy and satisfying. The breakfast area is quaint with wrought iron tables & chairs."

The polite and responsive owners were a big part of the success of their motel. They were friendly, welcoming and provided information on the area.

Many guests found the motel charming and said they would return.

The Bad
There were a few guests who left some complaints, but it was not the usual sentiment of the typical guest stay.

Once in a while a guest found the motel needed better cleaning. One guest said the maids did a spotty job and there was the very rare complaint of dust, black mould in the AC unit and fridge, and unvacuumed drawers in the rooms.

Other room complaints found were: the lock appeared flimsy with the door jam not tight up against the door and cold air came into the room through this crack, the bathroom had a window high up looking outside that needed more privacy paint or a curtain, and occasionally a guest's shower went from hot to cold during their stay.

Some nitpicks mentioned were: breakfast area was a little cramped, the front desk is closed late at night and parking can be limited for larger vehicles.
